The People Behind Adonai
Aether Van Dyke
Aether Van Dyke, along with her husband Joshua, founded Adonai to do insurance differently. Rather than simply writing a policy, her goal has always been to connect with the individual and walk alongside every person, wherever they are in their journey. With years of experience in insurance and protection planning, Aether firmly believes in listening first, understanding what you have built before ever talking coverage, and staying close long after the paperwork is signed.
For Aether, this work is an extension of her faith. Building something well, and helping others do the same, is part of building something bigger than the business itself. She’s licensed in life, health, and property and casualty.
Joshua VanDyke
Joshua VanDyke, along with his wife, Aether, is the defining force in Adonai’s growth and leadership systems. He is our strategist, designing how the agency should be structured and where it’s headed next. For Joshua, that’s its own kind of stewardship: building something well behind the scenes so it can serve our clients well out front.
He is licensed in life and health insurance, and he brings a builder’s mindset to every part of the agency — from operations to long-term planning. His role is to make sure Adonai stays positioned to serve clients well today and for years to come.
Aether and Joshua built Adonai together, and they built it on purpose, to be a different kind of agency. She’s in the conversations. He’s building the foundation and planning for the future. Different roles, same belief: that building something well is its own kind of stewardship, and that the business they are building is part of something bigger than either of them.
